Write Your Vision, Make It Plain!

Welcome family, friends and interested persons! This website and blog is the long-awaited result of receiving the vision given to me years ago. From an early age, I've had a passion for creative expression; whether it be singing, writing stories/poetry, stage plays, dancing, etc. I've always been drawn to artistic abilities in others (musicians, painters, dancers); probably sparked by my mother's own talents for singing and dancing. I was mesmerized after seeing the original productions of "Porgy and Bess" and "My Fair Lady", and for weeks I pretended my hair brush was a microphone while I practiced singing. So, singing in church and high school choirs just came naturally. I was fortunate to have parents who kinda spoiled me, and even after their relationship ended...my parents, especially my mother, encouraged my talents. That's how I landed in Nashville, with big dreams and very little money....to attend Fisk University over 30 years ago (wow). Why am I "strolling down memory lane" now, as a middle aged, grandmother? Because I want each of you to know....your vision, your dreams, are still significant. My friends, don't ever give up on your dreams! Even though several dreams were delayed and detoured for many years, I can testify that once God plants a vision in your heart, if you cherish that vision, guard it against the storms and trials of life, continue to nurture your visions, GOD WILL BRING THEM TO PASS. He who has begun a good work in you, will see it to completion. Some people will scoff, or criticize, however, just remember your visions/dreams came from the Creator. Guard your heart and stay the course! Holler back at me & share your thoughts. Grace & peace to you.
